Headwater Cellars is a craft winery born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Our family has been making wine here at home since the late 1990s, guided by a simple belief: good wine should feel welcoming, not intimidating.

We built Headwater for people who value authenticity over pretense. Wine, to us, is about slowing down. It is about long conversations, familiar faces, and the kind of evenings that stretch a little longer than planned. It is meant to be shared, not overexplained.

We started making wine for the love of the craft, and that spirit still drives everything we do. In our cellar, trusted standbys age alongside small, experimental projects. The Headwater name gives us room to explore, to take risks, and to follow our curiosity wherever it leads, without being bound by expectation.

Every bottle is crafted in small batches right here in San Antonio, using 100% Texas-grown grapes. Honest wine, made with intention, for real people.
