"Texas Sun" White Wine

A dry and creamy, full-bodied white wine

“Forged in fire”, the Roussanne grape has a unique relationship with the summer sun. Not unlike our fellow Texans, these French transplants are known for their tough skin and their “sunburn”. Literally - their skins tend to turn to a “russet” brown, which is likely how the grape variety got its name. While more commonly used as a blending wine for other French whites, like Marsanne or Viognier, we let our Roussanne stand on its own. Even unoaked, it makes for a full-bodied, creamy white wine that pairs mighty well with food.
